Alien Battle craft: Arena is a 2D arcade game in which you control a spaceship in space. Every map has planets, asteroids, and enemies. Depending on the size of the foe or object, it can be easier or harder to destroy. When you destroy an enemy, a power-up may come out of it. There are multiple types of powerups: some upgrade your weapon, some enhance your armor, etc. If you're low on health points, you can also get some other bonus: for example a bonus restoring your life.
If you are tired of the default spaceship then you can build your own spaceship with the components you own; you can gather in-game money and buy new ones. As for the weapons, there is a great variety of them as well as an impressive upgrade range. In fact, you can get an upgrade while fighting against your foes thus allowing you to get rid ofthem more easily.
If you think you're better at this game than anyone else, then you can show off your skills: the game features a high-scores table allowing you to compare your scores with players around the world.
Bottom line: it's quite an amusing but rather old game. The graphics are not that good and you could experience issues while playing it on Windows Vista, Windows Seven, or Windows 8. If you're looking for a realistic space shooter, then it's not the game you should buy.
